We are sorry to share the news that two members of The Park community, Bob Cullen and Victor Semmens, have recently passed away. Both made a significant contribution to the Estate and the wider area over many years.
Bob Cullen was a long-standing resident who cared deeply about The Park, its history and its unique character. He was closely involved with the Nottingham Park Conservation Trust and with other groups connected with The Park. His knowledge, insight and commitment were greatly valued, and he will be missed by many within the community.
Once confirmed, we will update this page with funeral details for Bob.
Victor Semmens was one of the founding Directors of The Nottingham Park Estate Limited and played an important role in shaping the Estate and the organisation we know today. He served on the Board for many years and remained a passionate supporter of the Estate long after stepping down.
Victor was also instrumental in the introduction of the Nottingham Park Estate Act 1990, which continues to support the governance of the Estate today. His knowledge of the Estate, its history and its governance was exceptional, and he was always generous with his time and advice.
Our thoughts are with the families and friends of Bob and Victor at this sad time.
Victorβs funeral will be held at Rushcliffe Oaks Crematorium. Those attending are asked to meet at 10.00am for a 10.30am service.
