09/05/22 Spraying The landscape team will be spraying on Thursday 12th May. They will be spraying in sections 1, 6, 8, 12 & 15 weather permitting. Please click here to view a plan of the sections.
05/05/22 Re-opening of Peveril Gardens on 16th May As we haven’t experienced many ‘April Showers’, over the coming weeks the landscape team will be irrigating Peveril Gardens to help the newly re-seeded grass to bulk up and to help other areas of lawn to germinate properly.
When Peveril Gardens reopen, if you are visiting with dogs, please can we ask that they are closely supervised and stopped from entering the shrub beds and prevented from digging holes, to avoid the need to close the garden again for further costly repairs.
29/04/22 No Mow May We are always looking to increase the biodiversity on The Park. You will no doubt of noticed the wildflower meadows on Newcastle Terrace and next to the Park Tennis courts, which we are continually trying to improve.
This year we have decided to take part in Plantlife’s annual ‘No Mow May’ campaign. So, from the 1st of May the landscape team will stop mowing some of the lawned areas to let the wildflowers bloom, providing a feast of nectar for hungry pollinators. The team will cut around the edge of the designated areas and install small signs to highlight why they aren’t being mown. The areas will be sections of the Circuses and one side of Duke William Mount along with the grass next to the existing wildflower areas.
25/03/22 The Nottingham Park Estate Regulations
Recently The Nottingham Park Estate Limited consulted on proposed changes to The Nottingham Park Estate Regulations, which deal primarily with parking and road usage in the Park. We thank everyone who took the time to send comments and feedback. Directors have considered all the submissions and where needed have sought legal advice. As a result, some changes have been made to the regulations.
You can find a summary of the comments received and the outcomes here.
The new regulations can be found here and on the Notice Board outside the Estate Office at 7a Lenton Road, NG7 1DP.
The new Estate Regulations will come into force on the 04/04/2022
