NPEL Membership – Key Points
- A Company runs by its Members and there to represent us all.
- Available to freeholders and long leaseholders (not tenants). As a group of vested stakeholders, this helps to ensure that those with a direct, long-term interest in The Park Estate’s future are the ones shaping it.
- We welcome new members(!) however membership is not automatic on purchase of a property. We welcome new members! You can complete a NPEL Membership Application to become a Member.
- Membership is free, and brings the benefits of;
- Voting rights on Estate key matters, including the management, maintenance, and development of the Nottingham Park Estate.
- Elections, to nominate directors, and stand for a position on the Board if you wish.
- Being part of our community stewardship. Our Members are part of a group that collectively works to preserve and enhance the character and quality of the Estate for current and future residents.
- Updates & key communications throughout the year on The Park Estate’s maintenance and management.
NPRA Membership – Key Points
- Independent of the NPEL.
- The NPRA issues the bi-annual ‘Park News’ Magazine and had a focus around organising events of interest to residents, including community and social events, like Second Sunday Socials. It also issues ‘The Park Card’ which offers discounts with local businesses.
- Annual fee is £10 per household.
- Open to all residents, including tenants
Frequently asked questions
Is being a member of NPEL the same as being a member of NPRA?
No, the two organisations are separate. The NPEL (Nottingham Park Estate Limited) is the Company that manages the Park on behalf of the residents.
The NPRA (Nottingham Park Residents Association) is the social organisation within the Park that organises events, provides the Park Card and the Park News magazine.
Why join the NPEL?
Membership gives you a say in how The Park is run;

How do I join the NPEL?
You may join if you are a Park property owner or long leaseholder. Please complete a NPEL Membership Application and return to the Estate Office to register.
