There are over 300 road gullies across the Estate that help remove surface water. To keep them working properly, we arrange for all gullies to be emptied and checked once a year.
During this process:
• Debris is removed from the gully base
• The outlet is checked and cleared
• The gully is refilled with water to confirm it is draining correctly
• Where necessary, the connecting drain is jetted to ensure water can flow freely to the sewer

A schedule showing which roads will be completed on which days is listed below.
Monday 9th March – Lenton Rd (From roundabout to Castle), Park Valley, Ogle Drive, Peveril Drive, Kenilworth Drive, Hope Drive, Hamilton Drive, Fishpond Drive, Hermitage Walk & Park Ravine.
Tuesday 10th March – Lenton Rd (From roundabout to Lenton Avenue), Huntingdon Drive, Clare Valley, Holles Crescent, Park Drive, Lenton Avenue, Fiennes Crescent & Hardwick Rd.
Wednesday 11th March – Tattershall Drive, Newcastle Drive, Park Terrace, Tennis Mews & Tennis Drive.
Thursday 12th March – Cavendish Crescent North/South, Cavendish Rd East/West, Clumber Crescent North/South & Clumber Rd East/West.
Friday 13th March – South Rd, Newcastle Circus, Duke William Mount, Lincoln Circus, Alexander Rd, Maxtoke Rd, Tunnel Rd, North Rd, Pelham Crescent & Western Terrace.

To allow contractors access, we kindly ask residents and visitors not to park over kerb‑side gullies between 8:00am and 4:00pm on the relevant day.
