The Nottingham 10K will take place on Sunday 8 March 2026. The race will start from Old Market Square at 9:00am, and road closures will be in place throughout the event, which may affect residents’ movement in and around the area.
The race route includes Peveril Drive, Lenton Road, South Road, Newcastle Circus, Duke William Mount, Lincoln Circus, Tunnel Road, and Tattershall Drive, with the finish line located at Nottingham Castle.
Please be aware that access to and from the following roads will also be significantly affected. You may need to move vehicles in advance of the road closures:
Kenilworth Drive, Ogle Drive, Clare Valley, Park Valley, Huntingdon Drive, Holles Crescent, Castle Grove, Clumber Road East, Park Drive, and the eastern side of Clumber & Cavendish Crescent South.
The North Road entrance/exit will remain open throughout the race.
If you plan to move your vehicle before the roads close, or if you are expecting visitors who may be unable to park directly outside your property due to the closures, please ensure a clearly visible note is left on the vehicle dashboard explaining this.
A managed crossing point will be available between Cavendish Road East and Cavendish Crescent North. Please note that access will only be permitted when safe to do so, so you may be required to wait.
If you have not already done so, we recommend reviewing the road closure document, which provides full details of the route and all closures across the city. Alternatively, you can use the interactive map, which also includes diversion routes to help you plan ahead.
