The British Gas Lamplighters were back on-site last week to carry out training for the Mitie team. They gave everyone an overview of how the lamps work, how to maintain them effectively and how to rectify issues that can occur.

The Mitie team will be assisting Andy in carrying out wind ups, changing mantles and re-lighting pilots where required so that Andy can concentrate on more complicated repairs, servicing and painting the lamps.

Its great for the team working on The Park Estate to have the support of the dedicated lamplighter team from London and be able to draw on their experience and knowledge, we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.
