Further to the post regarding Rent Charge a few weeks ago, please see below further guidance and clarification.

Who pays the demand ? –

All domestic & commercial property owners.

The Park Rate is payable whether or not the property is vacant. If a former owner has defaulted, arrears will be recovered from the present owner. The Company will not undertake to communicate with owners who have left any property.

When property in the Park changes hands the Company will seek payment from whoever is the owner on those dates and respective vendors and purchasers must agree any necessary apportionment of the Park Rate between themselves at the point of sale and purchase, including where there are arrears existing before the transaction completes.
