The outward bollard has been suffering from water ingress for a while now during heavy rainfall which has meant that the bollards have had to be switched off while the rainwater disperses. We have cleared a blockage in a nearby gully which has contributed to alleviating the problem but are also exploring other options. Whilst carrying out some pothole repairs near the gate on Peveril Drive we will remove the bollard and the soakaway below will be re-installed. The bollard will then be re-set slightly higher and the surrounding surface re-profiled to minimise future water ingress.

These works will be taking place mid April and means this entrance will be closed for 2-3 days. Further details will follow when we have confirmation from the contractor.
