Peveril Garden will be closed from Monday 18th March 2024 until further notice to enable repairs and reseeding to be carried out. The garden will not be re-opened until the area has recovered sufficiently. Dogs will not be permitted on the other green spaces within The Park during this period.

It is very disappointing to see that the area has degraded to the extent that it has. Whilst the weather has been a factor, the main issue is that dog owners are not taking care of the area: dog faeces is not being removed, shrubs have been damaged and several holes have been dug that may cause some trees to fail.
