We have received the following information from Nottingham City Council.
It has been agreed that in the interests of public safety, road closures will be implemented on the streets around the Castle during the World Cup Big Screen Event.
The following Streets will be affected:
Friar Lane, at the junction with Maid Marian Way,
Standard Hill at the junction with Rutland Place,
Lenton Road at the Park Gates.
The closures will be in effect from 20:30 hrs until 22:30 hrs.
In addition to the Stewards on duty at the Castle venue, Community Protection Officers will also be patrolling the area including Lenton Road and Castle Grove from late afternoon.
NCC also advise that should any resident experience any anti-social behaviour or other issue connected with the football screening they can contact the Event Control on 07930 596 814.

03.07.18- Damaged Lamp
Lamp 89 on the corner of Clumber Crescent North and North Road was hit early this morning. If anyone has any information please contact the Estate Office on 01159 474 273 to enable us to recover costs from the vehicles insurance company.
02.07.18 - Bollards
The bollards were repaired on Monday 18th June, however it transpired that the manufacturer had sent the wrong part which caused it to malfunction intermittently. Due to this we had to put them down again until the correct part arrives which is hoped to be this week. We will update again shortly.
17.05.18 - North Gates Closure
Due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to commence the urgent repairs works to North Road entrance on Monday as planned. We will update once the matter has been resolved
